The Allegany County Office of the State’s Attorney, Michael O. Twigg, announced that on Friday, 34 year old Simeon Leonard Younger of Cumberland, was found guilty of robbery, assault and theft by a jury in the Circuit Court for Allegany County as a result of an incident that occurred on November 17, 2007 on Iron’s Mountain, but he left during lunch Thursday and has not returned.
Governor Martin O'Malley won't say whether the Preakness would leave Maryland if voters reject the slots constitutional amendment on the November ballot, but he does say that voters need to approve the slots question, according to WBAL News.
